What is Learning Locker?
Learning Locker is a flexible, asynchronous training platform built specifically for schools and Multi-Academy Trusts. It offers a wide range of digital skills and compliance training through short, focused modules that staff can complete anytime, from any device. Training is easy to find, quick to complete, and progress is automatically saved and reported to school leaders for tracking and planning purposes.
How do I log in?
Most users can log in automatically using Single Sign-On (SSO) if they’re on a school-managed device. If you’re logging in from home or another device, you’ll just need your standard Learning Locker username and password. If you’re not sure how to access your account, your school admin or Learning Locker support can help.
Why do I see different courses to my colleagues?
Each school or trust can create a custom structure within Learning Locker. Staff are placed into different groups depending on their role, which means you’ll only see the courses that are relevant to your responsibilities. This avoids overload and keeps training focused.
Can I get a solo account?
No – Learning Locker is a school or MAT-wide subscription. It’s designed to support whole-organisation CPD, so we don’t offer individual logins outside of a wider school agreement.
I work at more than one school. Can I have access to both?
Yes. Users can be assigned to multiple organisations or roles within Learning Locker. If you work across schools or wear more than one hat, the system will reflect that, and your training will be grouped accordingly.
What’s the difference between the standard user site and the admin site?
The standard site is where most users complete courses and track their progress. The admin site is for those managing training across the school or trust. It allows admins to assign courses, upload content, and monitor progress using built-in reporting tools. Admins can access this area at learninglocker.co.uk/admin. The admin login uses a different format, so if you need help accessing it, contact our support team.
How will I know which courses I need to complete?
When a course is assigned to you, you’ll receive an email notification with the course details and deadline. You’ll also receive reminder emails as the deadline approaches, each with a direct link to the course so you can get started quickly.
What should I do if I’m having trouble accessing Learning Locker or a course?
If you experience any issues with access, content or login, just email support@learninglocker.co.uk. One of our education team members will be in touch to help you get back on track.
How can I suggest a new course or topic?
We welcome ideas from users. If you think a course would benefit multiple schools or trusts, email support@learninglocker.co.uk with your suggestion. Our content team regularly reviews user feedback when planning future modules.
